The Terreliban Association has been active since 1994. It received recognition from the Lebanese government in August 2002 as a non-profit environmental organization. It currently has nearly 35 active members.
Its Administrative Council, elected every three years, consists of seven members.
Through its numerous activities and extensive ecological campaigns over its 27 years of existence, the association is now widely recognized in most Lebanese schools, institutions, and villages.
The Terreliban Association is comprised of volunteers and benefits from the voluntary assistance of experts in environmental science, biology, and agronomy. It is funded through the subscriptions of its members and receives support from institutions and establishments that participate in its various campaigns.
Terreliban's broad reach among Lebanese schools and civic institutions, the pedagogical expertise of its members, and their deep understanding of the country and its environmental challenges are the association's major assets. These factors also ensure the success of its envisioned projects.
